WHAT IS THE CROWN CHAKRA?
This week, we are focusing on the seventh and final chakra, the crown chakra. Your crown chakra is located at the top of your head and is associated with the color violet or bright white. Your crown chakra is the center of your spiritual connect – to yourself, to others, to the universe, and to your creator. Blockages in the crown chakra manifest as apathy, confusion, and disillusionment.
HOW DO I CLEAR MY CROWN CHAKRA?
RELEASE AND MANIFEST
Take some time to connect and give your life a little “spring cleaning.” Consider the behaviors and energies that are no longer serving you. What can they be replaced with to give your life more purpose?

MEDITATION WITH FOCUSED AFFIRMATIONS
Meditation is intimidating. It’s hard to sit in silence with yourself. There’s a reason that so many of us stay busy. The mind can be a scary place! If you’re new to meditation, or find it hard to stay present, consider focusing on a mantra (or mantras!) as you practice.
To practice meditation with mantra:
- Find a comfortable space without disruptions and distractions.
- Take a few deep breaths. Slow inhales, slower exhales.
- Repeat your mantra slowly and steadily, outloud or to yourself.
- Repeat for 10 cycles, but keep going if you feel comfortable!
Crown Chakra Mantras:
I am connected.
I am significant.
I am divine.
I am complete.
I am enlightened.
Consider saying half of your mantra with your inhale and half with your exhale. For example, as you inhale, say “I am,” and as you exhale, say “connected.”
SOUND & MUSIC
Each chakra has a unique sound, called a seed sound or mantra. However, the third eye and crown chakras share a sound – om. Try silently chanting this sound to connect to your crown chakra. You can also listen to this crown chakra playlist on Spotify for inspiration.
JOURNALING
Last but not least – journaling. If you haven’t tried it yet, choose one of the prompts below and allow yourself to write freely for a minute. You may find yourself inspired to write more! As always, if journaling is uncomfortable, allow these prompts to guide your daily meditation or respond mentally.
